Visiting Deer Hunters Love Our Community

Opening weekend was a huge success according to hunters.  Visiting hunters help the whole community by purchasing our goods and services.  The Trevizo and Padille Families from Earth, Tx have made their third trip to the Barron Ranch.

Lorrenzo Trevizo said that this was their best hunt ever.  He said their were 4 times as many deer as last year, and all were in excellent condition.  Jesse Trevizo said on opening morning he had his pick of 14 bucks before he took his 7 pointer. The hunters had to store their deer at Sklenariks Smoked Meats storage facility because they had so many, they appreciated the helpful manner and reasonable price.  The six hunters harvested 2 8 point bucks, 1 7 point buck, 2 6 point buck, 6 does, 2 large turkeys and a few quail.  They said everyone in Miles was very friendly.  They stayed in the new Lodge at Barron Ranch.  The hunters have already reserved another trip in December.
